HTA Projects ~ The Data Migration Tool

The Data Migration Tool was designed to automate migration of ING customer data on Windows XP. It can migrate data from computer to computer or backup and restore data using any intermediary that has a drive letter and adequate free space, including a network share, local or external hard drive or thumb drive.

Features

• Designed for Windows XP.
• Copy from computer to computer, drive to drive or profile to profile.
• Copy direct over the network or computer to computer connected via cross-over cable.
• Copy using intermediary with adequate free space, such as mapped network share, internal or external drive, or thumb drive.
• Copy to same or different user profile name.
• Checks for source data copy size, target free space, Temp profiles or profiles similar to the logged in user, Outlook or Lotus Notes processes running, hidden files/folders turned on, CD in the drive, more.
• Creates logs of script status, files copied, file copy errors (due to locked, invalid paths, etc), network & local printers, drive mapping.
