The Software Inventory Tool
The Software Inventory Tool was designed to be used at different ING locations by IBM for desktop refreshes.
The Tool either locally or remotely gets a computer's Add/Remove listing built around a script written by Bill
James with credit given to Torgeir Bakken. Software, included on ING's base image, such as Microsoft Office,
RightFax, WinZip and many others, and Updates are removed from the listing and output to a formatted Excel document.
